Non Yellowing – traditional polyurethane coatings will go yellow over time

No Cracking or Peeling – as there is no coating on top of the timber to scratch or peel

Low Odour – excellent for those of us who are sensitive with allergies or just mindful about exposing our family to unnecessary chemicals

Hard Wearing – it is a myth that these products dont perform well.

Any repairs and necessary prep work such as nail punching, filling, glue removal will be charged at an hourly rate.

Rubio monocoat

All natural wood floor finishe which is plant-based, VOC-free and completely non-toxic oil finish. Available in clear finish and more than 30 color finishes, all apply evenly in a single coating. Rubio Monocoat is easily maintained and provides a subtle lustre that reveals and complements, rather than covers, the natural grain and patina of the wood.

Treatex hardwax

Treatex hardwax is a natural, non-toxic, environmentally friendly finish that is safe, durable and easy to maintain or repair. Combining the beautiful finish of timber wax with modern technology, a hardwearing floor finish has been developed that enhances the natural colour and grain of your timber floor.

The end result is a hard wearing and attractive finish in any situation including; floors, doors, stairs, furniture and kitchen worktops that is easy to maintain with our maintenance products and is spot repairable if the surface is damaged.

Treatex Hardwax Oil Ultra is based on our formulation of sustainable raw materials that include Bees wax, Carnauba wax, Candilla wax, Linseed oil, Sunflower oil, Jojoba oil. It contains no biocides or preservatives.

Synteko Natural

SYNTEKO NATURAL Oil is a solvent free, faintly smelling high solid hard oil. This matte natural oil finish with its high (100%) solid content has superior wear and tear properties. The burnished oil look is being used and specified in an increasing number of commercial and domestic projects including museums, galleries and public halls, due to its ease of use and maintenance.

Non Toxic Coatings

Remember cheap is not always the best. Prosand Timber & Concrete Polishing prefer to use the most durable single and two part hardwaxes and oils. Although much more expensive these products dry very hard and fast with no toxic odours meaning you can move back in sooner. They also look great and won’t yellow. Other timber flooring contractors are still using highly toxic polyurethane coatings requiring the use of air supplied respirators. These products are banned in the USA and Europe. Do your research and find out what is best for you, your family, your pets and the environment.
